Developed in a typically charentaise old residence, this house and swimming pool complex lies within grounds of approximately 1,200 square metres. The gîte, entirely renovated and independent, can accommodate 9 people.

Situated in the locality of “Le Mas”, 1km from the village of Condéon, the gîte d’Auguste is built right up against a small tree-covered hill. The locality, composed of only seven houses, is set in peaceful surroundings, at the end of a lane serving no other destination.

The gîte is the last house, standing at the highest point of the village and therefore with an unrestricted view over the surrounding area (fortified farm with two square towers towards the South, windmill under renovation towards the East, etc.).

The gîte is located in Southern Charente, 30km/19 miles from Cognac, 30km/19 miles from Angoulême and 80km/50 miles from Bordeaux. It is easily accessible from the “D 731” road, the major road in the southern part of the département, linking the DORDOGNE and CORREZE and the gateway to the beaches of CHARENTE MARITIME (the closest beaches are only 60km/38 miles away from the gîte).
